New Pituka 1.0d

Is it much easier to load games with it ? I had a few problems before trying to get the load" to work etc

Also what formats work with it ? I downloaded a few Amstrad games and i think they were the wrong type.

Cheers

Well done !
Really great emulator. Still too slow at 156mhz
and some DSK won't run with autolaunch ùcpm.

Who will add reesy z80 core ? :) reesy ?

Caprice needs 500Mhz and in PituKa works great at 156Mhz, I thinks that is a good optimization B)

Yeah bnut you can't really compare the two, one works on today's latest PCs which are far in excess of 2gHz while the other is a closed system that generally runs from 133-166mHz.

Really impressed with your emulator, great work only thing I would say is there any chance of a 166mhz version? Those extra few frames might make some games more enjoyable?

Other that that I love the menu system and most of the roms I have tested work fine albiet a tad slow.

Steve :)

I've had a quick look at PituKa, Its going to take abit of work to put DrZ80 in mainly due to the way the Z80 is controlled. The current setup is slow but probably very accurate, it checks loads of stuff after every opcode. DrZ80 does not allow for this, you just tell it how many tstates you want to execute and fire it off.

I'm going to have to re-write alot of stuff from what I can tell, hopefully it will be possible but I wouldn't get your hopes up.

Ok that is fine. If it his possible great, If not it is still a real nice emulator. Thanks guys.

nice work indeed mister skywalker.

Now I'll have to dig up some hidden gems.. anyone care to start a "best CPC games" thread?

I wonder if it's possible to do some CPU overclocking hack on the fxe's? I'd really like a 150Mhz version..... anyone know?
