Is there any other way rather than continually having to use the on-off switch? It feels like it's hurting it!!!

Nope, it's the only way, and I totally agree, it doesn't feel like it's the proper way of doing it. That's why I try to implement a reset option in all my programs, and I think other developers should aswell!

Yeah, im sure waiting in between turning it off maybe 10 seconds would help instead of a very quick on/off

anybody should make some kind of firmware, when it starts you have the option of resetting pressing some key combo.

I was hoping that I'd some reply like "Hold Select, A and Start for secs" etc...!!

Nanotech should put a reset button on the back when installing the FrontLit kits.

Hey... No need all these hard resets.. my GP32 resets whenever it wants to.. all on its own...!!! LOL.. seriously it resets sometimes when i load a prog..!

Some programs reset, with star and select.

I consider a good idea for programmers to have a reset feature.

That can happen when your batteries are low and it's a high Mhz bit of software.

For anyone who dosen't know how to reset a GP32, just put break into your main loop where you want to reset :)

If you turn it off and on really fast the screen will get stuck, and random noise will come through the speakers.

I've had some bizarre effects with rapid on and offing especially with moviepark, I was once half way through a Justin Timberlake video when I got annoyed and flicked the switch on and off quickly the opening tune and logo where mixed with a very rapid playing of the rest of the video....I thought I'd knacked it.

Never have L + R as a reset as Ive done that accidently in a game where Ive had to use the L and R buttons and its very annoying!
