Just a quick information:

Blue Angelo doesn't run with Slubman Firmware (yeah, I used GXE-Launcher plugin).

My guess is that Slubman Firmware / GXE-Launcher doesn't support SMC ID encryption correctly, as I decrypted Blue Angelo (DON'T ASK ME HOW TO DO IT! AND NO, I WON'T GIVE THAT VERSION TO ANYONE!) and it runs fine with Slubmans FW.

I already contacted Slubman about that, hopefully a fix is possible.

But if you want to play Blue Angelo (and you REALLY should! That game ROCKS!), don't flash to Slubman FW yet!

What's the game like, EvilD? It looks really good to me

Well, only played about 30 minutes yet, it reminds me a bit of Faxanadu :)
Looks like the map is REAAALLY huge (as you can look at a mini-map, and I only discovered about 2% of the whole game :))

The game's a good mixture between RPG story, fighting elements (like Faxanadu, just with combo moves :)) and an exploration game :)

EvilDragon > I also decrypted it as a fxe because yes Slub's firmware doesn't read smc id encrypted games, but only GP32 id gxe.

Before decrypting it, I used the BLU firmware as a fxe on the Blue Angelo SMC so that it would be automatically launched at the startup by Slub's firmware.

P.S. : I completed the game at 94.6% (can play with William and Red Angelo but it appears to be a 4th character).

Well, good news, Slubman told me he'll look into it :)
He didn't know that :)

/with pictures

;)

I'm still waiting until I can get it cheaper and until (hopefully) a patch is released to fix the poor English translation (from what Tobriand says, anyway).

Does anyone know where else other than Shibuya to get this game from? I actually ordered the game a month ago but never got it. It was either lost in the post or they ripped me off.

It looks a bit like the Castlevania series on the gba.
Is it like them (with leveling up, getting new weapons (Aria of Sorrow style?))???

If it is, I`m going to buy one.
Where did you bought it, EvilD?
Any hints on getting one of these cheap to Germany ? :D

I know its a couple more button clicks, but slubman can open .bin - so just have a copy of the euro or korean fw handy and then go to blue angelo through that. I still use a GXE encrypted copy of GP cinema now and then since i dont often update my smcs.
