Hi everyone,

I recently added a GBA (non sp) to my collection of handhelds. There is a device sometimes called a TV de Advance which is a hardware mod kit that allows you to directly display GBA output to a television. I am trying to find one of these, but cannot seem to find a retailer that has one in stock. I tried to order one from Success-hk, but they sent me the wrong thing (a tv tuner). A couple of other places I noted had horrendous reviews online (probably scammers).

As many of you have mutiple handhelds and there is such a wealth of knowledge here, I was hoping that someone could perhaps tell me of a reputable dealer that has one of these in stock? I appreciate any help you can give...

Thanks,
Valeos

Nova,

Thank you for your reply! I just sent them an e-mail to make sure it works with NTSC as well since I live in the USA. I believe there is a version that works with both, but they do advertise it as a PAL model. (Crossing my fingers)

I had one of those things and was really disappoined with it. It was very hard to install and the connecting ribbon came lose a few times which meant having to reinstall it all over again. And for that kind of money I'd consider just buying a used Gamecube and the GBA player. I think you could get that combo for around $100 used and you'd get the benefit of having a Gamecube as well.
