Best Place For Working/cheap[est] Gp32's?

Heck... If that's the difference, then I guess I'm getting a FLU (but will still keep an eye on the BLU units to see if they fix the problem)

So how long does it take a supplier like lik-sang to send a unit to the USA?

I have a FLU, it looks Good. Lik-sang have the Non lit unit for $130. and the FLU for 180 with a SMC and RF Module (for multiplayer)

Plus FLUs seem to overclock better, mine goes at 166mhz on Doom without resetting.

If you order from Lik-sang it's take between 2 - 10 days to arrive, depending on yor shipping method (Choose EMS or UPS and avoid DHL)

I know that guy was anoying you to. Im just not well enough respected. If one of the gurus woulda said something you guys woulda all shut up or agreed with them. But since i say it u guys just cant resist. He was anoying me with his dumb qustions. And i know he was anoying you guys to. And i didnt curse or flame i just told him to please stop posting stupid questions because thats what they are stupid. I have no reason to get baned........

EDIT: I dont know about you guys but how many people actully own a gp32. Not enough for the multiplayer to be any useful. I dont know why liksang throws that in because very few people ever use it. There good scamers. :( the flue priceups really really dissapointed me and allot of people from the boards. I was gonna get a flu for chirstmas but now im not getting anything. :(

Well everybody starts somewheres in their amount of knowledge, and I, being a nOOb to this system, am starting at the bottom. I don't see how my questions were dumb, since i've never bought a GP32 or used any of these other sellers before, so I was checking with the community to see their opinions on the sellers. And i'm sorry if I was annoying you with my questions, but if you didn't want to be annoyed with my questions, then just ignore me. It's well within your rights to do so.

Sincerely,
Dracosilv

Be nice to dracosilv,

These things are totally unknown in The United States let alone the Wisconsin where we are from (I'm from Wisconsin too!). Anyways, I would recommend the blu its the best screen I have ever seen, can't say I've seen or touched an original gp32 or flu but I know from gameboys that back-lit is just Dandy like Andy eating some Candy (real nice)! I got mine voltage modded by GBAX.com, but that was kind of expensive seening how Craig lives across the Atlantic and the dollar is kind of weak against the pound. I hope you have good luck in getting your GP32!

Well truth be told, I heard about this GP32 on a commodore discussion. They thought it (the GP32) was neat because of the fact that a commodore emulator was part of the software you could get. (Instantly Portible Commodore 64!)

Well I would get a BLU, if not for the screen bugs as of late... But when they are resolved, then I might just consider getting one, but not before...

By voltage modding, you mean bumping the speed up to 166mhz (similar to the speeds of the units that they sell?) by changing the resistors that govern the speed?

Yeah mine was goes 166 for sure due to voltage mod, I didn't want one that couldn't do 166.

I got mine mainly for nintendo emulation but I'll have to install the Atari st emulator and show my uncle he is an atari nut... Can't say I've ever owned or touched a commadore...

Anyway yeah I guess a Flu is your best option if you want one now... and it might even overclock pretty high.

I can't seem to figure out what speed the GP32 that I could buy from lik-sang: (here). It seems lik-sang sells it at either 133 or 166mhz, but I can't see which speed I would get it at, or if that's just what lik-sang says the top end speed is with modding.

Lik-Sang say the Units go up to 166 mhz, which means if you are lucky, you get one that can go to 166 out-of-the-box, otherwise it only can do less mhz, and you have to do a volt-mod to get full clockrate (not every gp32 is like the other, due to production processes, some can do more mhz than others - unless you do a volt-mod)
