It's a VERY early DOS game, runs on weaker comps (even lower than the 133 MHZ range I think) but is quite sweet (I still play it now and then) do you think it'd be possible to port to GP32 if someone got ahold of the source? (but take out pyros and Flail, those were the two CHEAPEST damned characters in fighting history.... or keep them XD makes no difference) who likes the idea of a port of this to GP32? (to replace the modem/network mode could be GPlink multiplayer code)

http://ultimatestunts.sourceforge.net/index.php?page=0wow... that's an old game... I remember having that in my ULTRA old 5 1/4" floppy disks... hehehehe... Another game that would be nice is Stunts... a 3D (?) game where you create your own track with loops and ramps... than you tested it...

I've found something about stunts:

I just found a project over sourceforge... so we have sourcecode!!!

There's a problem with calling this a port though. As far as I know, no source for it was ever released. So the best you could manage is a rewrite.. can't have a port without some original source. That said, it was a pretty sweet game.. that and Tyrian.

Oh yeah! Tyrian r0x0rs!!!

I wish someone would port it, and it meets the requirements of the gp32!

They're planning on making an (ick) GBA version... hence they won't release the source (tried over at the forums) sorry guys :\ I dunno if we could convince them or not.

What? of OMF or Tyrian?

Either way, they'd both be re-writes anyway; all Epic's old games are in Turbo Pascal, so it wouldn't be an easy port - and of course, there's no source. I wrote to the CEO suggesting Tyrian and Jazz Jackrabbit ports as commercially viable for them, but I'm guessing since (as I found out later) the things are in Pascal, it ain't something they'd do. Assuming the email didn't just get binned.

That said, OMF was a truly sweet game; running it on GP32 without porting on an x86 emu might be tough, unfortunately (slow on a 16MHz 386; think its OK on a 25 MHz one) - but we can hope for a stupidly good x86 emu that might let us run it. Although if we're talking with sound, I'd doubt that...
