OMG!! OMG!!! i was setting up my old pc for my sis and was just about to format it in command prompt when i thought i'll check out whats on it i found what appears to be a backup of my all for princess game. :D

It was in some stupid directory i must have backed it up by accident i still have my old 16mb smc that came with it somewhere, will it still work on my blu?

And how to install it?

Is it a .smc? If so I doubt you will be able to get it to work, also I doubt its legiality.

If it isn't a .smc, did you buy it boxed? If so it will not work on any SMC but the one you bought it on, if you downloaded it from JpyGP (Don't even know if you can) it will only work on the GP32 it was downloaded for.

i know how to get it onto ure SMC, PM me if u want

and finty, for fucks sake stop it, not all .smcs are pirates and it is perfecty possible for OmarNawaz to have backed up his copy

I bought it when the GP32 came out with my unlit and yes i got it boxed along with that cool joystick i know the games are encrypted to the smcs and i still have my old one i deleted it by accident because i thought those shinny round sticker were supposed to be stuck on the smc :p pretty dumb of me i know.

thanks mattmagoo i'll pm you in a minute.

will it work on my blu?

It will work on your BLU if it is put back on its original SMC, or the encryption is removed.

It isn't quite clear to me, but did you delete it off its original SMC or have you lost it? If you have lost it I think there is a way to remove encryption.

Magoo: All I said was I doubt its legiality, I didn't say he shouldn't post about it. Even if he did buy the original game, if the encryption is removed and the game placed on a differant SMC it is illegal.

And you can't just copy the file to your smc?
But if you backed it up is there than no function to copy the backup back?

i made the backup like 3 years ago and i cant remeber how i restored :(

A backup tool would be pretty cool. so the you can make .iso's of snes emulator with roms, and gen emu, and different discs so that i could make a collection on cd, and when im in the mood to play nes games on the train when i go on holiday or something i can just restore that backup onto the smc!! what u guys think.

Maybe you made a .smc to try and run it in GeePee32. I don't actually think, if it is a .smc, you will be able to put it back on your GP32.
