Hi everyone,

I just got my GP32 BLU three days ago. gp32_console It's awesome, but I ran into an issue yesteray evening. When I was playing some emulators (FGEN32 in particular but SMS32 as well), the screen starting getting fuzzy and blurry. It was very strange. It did not occur on Commercial Games, such as PInball Dreams or Kimchi Man, but ti did occur on the Balloon n Balloon freeware game. At anyrate, I changed batteries and everything became better.

My question is why does this "fuzzy" effect happen to emulators, but not commercial games? Do they use more power? Does that mean I effectively have less battery life with emulators and some freeware games?

Also, now that I know what a power hog this is, what's the BEST rechargeable batteries I can get? I'd like to pick some up, but I know type and sometimes brand make a difference.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give! :)

the gp32 is doing that when it gets to less powr, emulators are often/normaly running at a higher clockspeed than homebrew/commercial software so they need more power.

buy yourself some good 2300mah rechareables

Thanks very much! Does it matter which brand or type I get? Or any 2300 Nimh rechargeables are good? How much should I expect to pay for them? (What's considered a good deal?)
