After taking some time off from trying It is now clear my unit is completely bricked.

It’s a rebirth and not the 1GHZ model.

Things that are brand new:
Case
Button mat
LED cable
Audio fix(wheel I believe
One battery
Carrying case

Things that are old
Second battery
Everything else that originally came with the unit

I bought it used on eBay, got some decent use out of it for about a year or two. Then I noticed a powering on difficulty. It took several attempts but did eventually power on. Then the LCD cable went. Eventually sent it to ED to basically be overhauled with all the new items listed above. Worked great once I got it on as the powering on issue still persisted. ED even stripped everything down and baked the motherboard in an effort to re-solder a failing connection that may be responsible for the boot issue. Seemed to have worked but now the unit is completely dead. Green LED lights up when plugged in(and I assume battery is charging) but I can no longer get it to power on. Last attempted over summer of 2018. Got it out tonite yo try again and nothing.

So I offer everything listed for parts basically. Cheap way to get some new parts.

Name your price. I’d like to get $50-$100 for everything. Someone with time might be able to re-work the whole board and get it working again. Then it would be the ultimate Frankenstein.

I’m in the states so North American offers might be the most cost effective for shipping. I won’t be insulted with any offer. Just throwing it on here before I try my luck on eBay or Amazon.

If the green light comes on, it may be booting but not showing anything due to a duff lcd cable or something. The only way I know to determine if a unit it booting without some kind fo ext-connector and assuming wifi is off by default is to insert a card containing some pnds in the appropriate folder and watch the SD card access lights; it'll need to access the pnds as it builds the menu. If it's booting straight into minimenu, I guess it will do similar, but I don't use that myself.

It doesn’t seem to go past the far left LED being constantly on. When I hit the pandora button and power switch simultaneously the LED turns off. As soon as I let go it turns back on. The unit doesn’t seem to be doing anything else at any given time

Far left? I thought the power LED is on the far right, with the red charge light next to it, and the SD accessors and wifi and bt lights on the left, but my Pandora's been bricked for so long I can't remember well. But either way, I guess, the SD accesor lights are orange while the power LED is green, so there shouldn't be any confusion. Maybe some point in the boot stage is broken, but that should be recoverable with the right OS flasher card.

But if you want to sell this for repairs that's fine. I'm just suggesting it might not be as broken as you think, so this might be the steal of the century for someone who wants it.

Well, if that’s the case, with everything basically new, and having received no offers, I’ll bump it up to $200. A bit of a risk but if someone thinks they can fix it it is a steal, extra battery, case charging cable, everything.

Either someone could repair or scrap for a decent amount of new parts
