I have a GP32 FLU...is really worth to change to the 180 mhz edition....

I have the money but I will see what you think....

Should I keep mine or should I change to 180 mhz edition??

And what´s the news in this one...except it can do 180 mhz??

Super Mario RPG why can´t you play on my gp32 :(

It's not really an 'edition', as in it's not supported by GamePark. You can however get a voltmod to make it go to 180MHz...

I'm in the same situation but would not consider upgrading for just 180Mhz... the only emulator that I want that needs overclocking for a decent performance is OpenSnes so I'll wait to try and get hold of a 200Mhz super-GP.

expensive : not at all
it will cost you less than a $

you can have a 'how to' on www.cobbleware.com

I made it and it is not so hard even with a very basic soldering skill

see you

PS: with the OC mod mine can clock at least @ 220MHz :D

That's some technical stuff.

I remember modding my PS2 back in the day. Nearly pooed my pants doing it. Luckily it all worked - I still cant beliee it everytime I load a game today,

I'd like more ram (dont knwo why) and more power but I'd rather send my GP32 back to GBAX and get them to do it? I wonder if they might offer upgrades?

I know they've got 180mhz versions, but what about 200mhz mods, are they possible?

How are you supposed to replace those smaaaaal resistors with basic soldering skills ? o_O

just try it and you will see that it is not so hard...
im not very good with a soldering iron but I managed to make my GP clock @ 220MHz...so "everyone" should be able to do the same

see you

Which resistor combo did you use to get it to go to 220mhz ?

Never mind. It just pulls out. Man, it's on there really good though.
Why do you need to pull out the motherboard? It looks like you can get to the resistors by just pulling the case back off.
