Open Source Snes

Soukoban, play it with GPEngine, its a brain crusher !!

Also on GPEngine, lots of shmups, with sound

Its my favorite emulator, for now...

Dennisisthlm- PLEASE STOP posting on your own thread; edit your previous posts if you must. Going by yoyo's statement of "two days or two months" that he made about a month ago, then it should be coming in about one month, though i wouldn't count on it. Yoyo's a busy guy, so just be patient. Remember that he does this for free and on his spare time. And dr.no, a donation cant do any harm

yeah you righty...When I got pay I should give him som donation....:)

Oki hmmm....I should do a new snes emulator...if I jusst could program the source code...

I can´t c++ but I want to....

I wate...till then...my snes emulator should entertaine me for a while.....

It can mean ANYTIME. could be in 5miinutes, could also take half a year or longer. I remeber a post in January saying "soon".....

and please, use the edit function. There´s a reason for it.

Damn, I can't stand those when-will-be-the-next-update-of-the-emulator-XYZ-whiners. Don't you realize that the guys who make emulators make them on their own spare time. They have no obligation at all to update their emulators, or if they update them to distribute the updates.
The next update will be ready when it will be finished and will be finished when it will be ready.

wow, all this hassle from relaying what hando said.

i to have no idea when an update will be released, i'm just rather sickly proud of the fact that by starting a rather pissed off complaint thread, Hando announced that a new version is going to be released.

is it an issue with graphics or just the multi-tap bug that stops people playing mario rpg? i read somewhere that by creating a savestate on a snes pc emu then you can just load that up and bypass the problem, anyone???

A. your constantly double posting, stop that. theres an edit button.
B. what is this fetish for the enter key theres like 5 spaces between each sentance.
C. it'll be done when its done, and i think its going to go straight to 0.5.
D. i doubt there'll be a fsnes, as snes is tough to emulate.

[n00b bash] and since you demanded the snes to be updated so badly we'll put everyones life on hold just for you, cause your special, <_< you don't seem to realise yoyo , rlyeh and all the gp32 coders are doing every thing out of the goodness of their hearts for nothing, so just get off you tower and wait like everyone else.
[/n00b bash]

mario rpg works with snes9xgp by the way
but it runs at like 70 %

i haven't run snes9xgp but is it overclocked at all
and is it open source?

@ Dennis i Sthlm: För guds skull, lugna ner dig... Nästa version kommer när den är klar. Du kan redan nu Spela Super Mario RPG som redan är sagt. Därimot är jag shockad, Fick du igång Lufia2, min fastnar i intron..

@Spray Yep, it's the multitap bug. i'll try the savestate fix, thx for the tip ^^

Hmmm Mario RPG is working..

If you take a savestate from your znes emulator for pc....

Then you put the savestate in the mapp that you have all snes games....

But it´s about.....70% speed...

But I tries the 200 mhz mod...and overclocked my gp32 to that speed....

Then Mario Rpg work about 80-90% speed...with fs3 with sound on...22khz and 8bit...

But My batteries didn´t last for long...

Errrmmm... you all DO know that OpenSNES9x IS Open Source, right?
You can grab the source at yoyo's site and edit it if you like ;)

However, I yould wait with that until the next version comes out or yoyo says he doesn't manage to get it finished (which will hopefully never happen).

Lufia 2 can be played if you have 166 mhz, fs2
sound on...and 16 bit 22khz.....

My hanged to but if try the savestate trick...
But then I restarted it then it worked...that´s strange..could be the battries...
Take a savestate from znes for Lufia 2 then you should be able to play it...
