Mario Forever

it seems like just a graphically upgraded smb1
i dont' want this to sound harsh but i don't think this is worth of a port

Quite impressive, because most sonic fan games (also usually made in MMF) tend to have ripped graphics instead of new ones. Portworthy? Nah, just play an SMB3 hack.

Defintely worth a bash on the PC. But you're right theres plenty of great hacks out there.

The latest one I'm on is a random mario hack for mario 1 (Super Mario R) that completely changes each level so you dont know whats coming next.

I love this hack

I love it when you got 2 of those really really long "spinning fire thingies" and 2 hammer bros behind it. Its impossible

I gotta try that. Currently playing Super Demoworld: TLC and Ultra SMW, as well as Mario Adventure. One thing I've noticed is that the latter two are ridiculously hard compared to the original games :(

yep. Thats sods law at its best :) Makes me want to yell out loud on the train or something (where most GP32ing occurs).

Mario Adventure is cool - I like the way everything is changed kind of like a "Total Conversion". But since you can choose which zone to go to, the difficulty level stays the same (ok. I admit I use save states.. :))

I have been playing WAY to much Mario recently and Giana's Return ;)

Don't let that stop you -- it certainly doesn't for the passengers on my train at least. Although, if they were playing videogames it'd be kind of charming instead of terrifying.
