Hi,
I've downloaded gpdrive from the Beta Test Zone. It was aquafish's idea helping me to load his GP32War on my gp32_console . But I don't know how to use gpdrive. Do I need driver or something like that? Could you explain me how to load games on my gp32_console with gpdrive.
Thx for your help, atapter2

step 1: turn on your gp32
step 2: open gpdrive
step 3: plug in your cable and connect the gp32 to your pc
step 4: go into my computer and open the "removable hard drive"
step 5: copy files

these steps are for windows xp

you don'T need any drivers. but you need a clean windows XP install.
0.disconnect gp32 from PC. (unplug Usb cable)
1.reboot your windowsXP.
2.start gpdrive from freelauncher or if you are using BLU just start it from selector..
3.wait for gpDrive to start and wait on idle status.
4.connect Usb cable to pc and gp32.
5.Windows will find your gp32 as USB Mass Storage Device and load it.
6.wait for installation to finish (you dont have to reboot).
7.Open "My computer" icon, you will see "Removable Disk" icon.,open it
8. if you want to install a executable (eg. GXB or FXE file), copy them into GPMM folder.
9. to finish the procedure, PRESS SELECT ON GP32. DO NOT TURN OFF GP32.
10. when gp32 is rebooting, quickly unplug USB cable.
11. enjoy.

Notes:
if you plug USB cable BEFORE gpdrive running, windows will try to install gp32 drivers, which will fail your USB MASS STORAGE DEVICE installation.

If you turn gp32 off instead using SELECT button, you will lose data that can lead corrupt files or even corrupt SMC.

Sorry but I use Windows 98.
If you use Windows 98 you need to download a USB Mass Storage Driver.

Google "windows 98" "usb mass storage driver"

or try the one here:
http://users.skynet.be/firefly/gp32/projec...s/gpums_w98.zip
There are many Mass Storage Drivers for Windows 98 but the only one that is universal is the official one from Microsoft. As I already said in another thread, when Windows 98 ask you for a driver, simply check the windows update checkbox. It will download the right one.

The one Dalto specified doesn't work very well.

I tried it and I became no result. Widows 98 couldn't find a right driver for gpdrive. What's now? My problem was this sentence when I loaded GP32War folders on my GP32: "Invalid extension. only 3 characters are allowed for extension file name: music". aquafish told me to use gpdrive and you know the problems. Maybe there's another way?

Have you tried the hacked pclink (I think you can get it off this site)? It will take awhile longer but like gpdrive it automatically curtails the word. Give it a go if you can.

EDIT: found it on the site here. Hope it works

I use the second edition with every existing update so perhaps you should get some patches

Hi, I tried the hacked pc link and the folders were loading on my gp32_console . But GP32War didn't load the maps etc. But the folders are on my GP32. Maybe the hackd pc link is the problem? Or anything else? BUT THE FOLDERS ARE IN THE MENU!!!!! What now?
