Battery Time On Blu?

I saw something a couple of months ago suggesting 7 hours - I'm reckoning that's going to overstate it. I too hope to be able to tell you next week when I've got my shiny 166 mhz BLU :D

But in the end, with such good rechargeable batteries around these days, I'm really not that concerned so long as I can get at least a good couple of hours @ 166 mhz.

Rlyeh was saying about how the quality is improved over the flu. It's more like the basic unit quality. Like to turn the back light on you just hold down select for 5 seconds. Damn I want one :(. Looks like my flu's going to be sold pretty soon.

I believe it will have a battery life at least as good as the FLU's

Ack, does this mean when I am playing a game that uses Select a great deal I'll keep turning the BLU off and on?
Not to worry; even in Osnes9x, I use select to enter the GUI, and need only hold it for 1-2 seconds. Five seconds is an eternity ;)

Well, I will get answers in one week since I also have ordered a Gp32blu now :)

gbax says theyre starting shipping tomorrow and it says on the site that the batteries give 5+ hours play

I would guess it would be similar to FLU as it is most likely the same light only from the back.

If GP says 5 hours, that is probably at 66 Mhz with the volume all of the way down. At 166Mhz with volume up most likely around 10 minutes... Well probably around 2-1/2 - 3 hours I would guess. It will be interesting to see what Craig finds out. I still want it though, I will just plug it in or use rechargeables.

I think people would be complaining at GPSPain if it was as low as people on this board say it would be....
