Yes Intruder, those early 80's days were so cool

I remember rushing down to Just Micro (A shop above which Gremlin Grahics developed their software) almost daily to see what new games were out. often we'd be asked up stairs to look at the latest stuff, and to give it a whirl.

I remember playing Monty Mole even before it bacame a big hit.

Sheffield was a cool place to be in thsoe days (still is now as a matter of fact)

Minnesota is pretty good too

except the Wild lost again tonight

It should not matter how old you are as long as you are a gamer, then the Gp32 is for you

(I need a sit down after that speech)

Pass me my slipper love

and toss another log on the fire, me cardie is not keeping me warm

hah, 7 of us are the younger sleeker upgrades! we still steal your jobs, dreams, gp32's and organs! forget the last one!

Hmm being a 33 year old MD I might have the last say when it boils down to getting our organs! hehehe

But by long practise my reflexes have been trained for such a horrible long time (read 20+ years) that I always win from all my (younger) cousins when it comes down to shoot´m ups & arcadish stuff, even the odd FPS. hehe

Just wondering how the above graph would look like on the GBA forum

Very different, that is for sure. But hey I would kick up the average age level on this hypothetical GBA forum poll since I am rather ancient AND posess a GBA too.
:D :D

I'll be 25 soon. I didn't have any video games as a kid (my folks didn't believe in them), so I had to game vicariously through others. My first system was (get this!) an original Game Boy I bought during my freshman year of high school. In college and shortly thereafter, I expanded my collection to include an Atari 7800, Jaguar, NES, SNES, N64, GC, PSX, PS2, Genesis, Saturn, DC, NGPC, SwanCrystal, GBA SP, and most recently, a GP32. :D

This is weird I thought most people with GP32's were a bit younger, except for the coders... ahh well. Wouldn't it have been better of you had this thing when u were young? Everyday im searching for updated emus. I can see how you dont like those younger 12 yo's posting the stupidest topics.

Me im ...... 12

It's the opposite, older people have less time to waste coding... :)

29 but approaching 30. I got into gaming with the ZX Spectrum for about 4 years and then stopped playing games for about 5-8 years and missed all the NES, Atari ST, and Amiga years but eventually got back into gaming with an old Mega Drive.

I'm 14 and I never really got into gaming. I just happened to find this and thought @hey what the hell I'll see what I've missed. I do seem to remember having a spectrum and trying to play teenage mutant hero turtles in a tape player (as far as I know it played the intro sound)
