Usually my SMC is stuffed with Hip Hop, but atm all I have on it is J-Pop. :D
The perfect sound for the beginning of the warm season here in Germany.
I love to bike while listening e.g. to Beyond the Bounds (ZOE2 Soundtrack).

I just went to the hospital and listening to your music on your gp32_console really passes the time. burn burn the station.......... its great :D .

I don't get all the complaining about storage space. Okay, so it's no iPod by any stretch of the imagination, but I can get a good 60 or so OGG files on there [at 64kbps]. That's enough to last me at least four hours, and still have space for my SNES/Genesis/NES/C64 emus and a few games. Hell, up until I got my GP I was still using my beat-up old Rio PMP300, with its colossal 32MB of storage (that's the danger of being an early adopter!)

Last week I was out of town for the day, and put together an 80s-themed playlist - Human League, Altered Images, David Bowie, Michael Jackson, Madonna, Talking Heads, Eurythmics, and some slightly more obscure stuff. Even though I left in the morning and didn't get home until late afternoon, I still didn't manage to listen to it all. :p

none. 128mb of music = what's the point?
2 albums worth, enough to get me to uni and back.
I only listen to music on me gp when im about places, or travelling to somewhere, its not neccessary for when im inside, and my tunes on me gp get me thru my skool day fine, all i have to do is just change the tracks i have on my smc every 2 weeks or so.

Hey! You didn't read my post
Now we are three!! Yay!

I would have said 128mb is enough space for a selection of the music you'd like and that's the beauty of the gp, try playing a film or game on an ipod

I use mine for travelling music, with a spare 64mb card for games etc. since you can't do both at once, makes more sense

my selection changes with my mood but currently I have divine comedy's - fin de sicle and a selection of various tracks, that gives me two hours worth of music

since uploading using the card reader doesn't take that long, start uploading, then go off and finish getting your stuff ready for your journey

as you have limited space on your smc i recommend "modplay" by chn and probably a few songs in mod format by eha :) -> www.eha-music.com it's nice chipmusic and should entertain you for around 30 mins at a size of around max 2mb.

The Pixies,
Weezer (Pinkerton, and Blue Album),
