Definitely, it's great eye candy with story :] There is definitely going to be a point when I run out of SNES and Genesis RPGs...I hope GP has the will to just translate them! :p

i watched the finally
i wanted her to stay on the plane
but now that the show is over and a lot of people will not know what to do with their lives
i say this
make your own friends
it is not just for famous people

Thank f... Friends is finished. That programme was awful. Americans cannot do comedy. Evidence for the jury:
Friends
Will And Grace
Seinfeld
Will And Grace
Frasier
Will And Grace
The Simpsons
Will And Grace
Futurama
Will And Grace
King Of The Hill
Will And Grace
and...
Will And Grace

Oh, and Will And Grace.

Edit: Oh yeah, Sex And the Fecking City too.

But what about Will&Gra-- oh wait...

I think what a lot of people miss is that friends will never go away, especially when it come on in syndication 5 times a day. :p

Dharma and Greg have long since wandered off to the land of syndicated reruns.

You know what gets me is how Burger King is trying to push their new commercial campaign as a Sitcom called "Lunch Break" I just thought it was ridiculous... and somewhat hilarious to actualy give the characters names now and a 'show title'... granted it might be an interesting show concept if it weren't hawking burgers or a rip off of "the office." :p

I hate Friends. It's anti-funny; though I do like Seinfeld, only because every character on that show is such a complete asshole, it's great to laugh at them.

"Americans can't do comedy" <-- nice.

I've seen some dull-as-rocks British 'comedies'; like "Keeping up appearances" "Are you being served" and the show that Three's Company was lifted from, "Man about the house". They all bored me to tears.

Please don't stereotype, it's rude.

Damn, I apologize for going off-topic.

(back on)
With the Euro launch coming, is there ANY hope of getting some of these great games translated?

Probably not. I get the feeling they thing the translation effort isnt worth the moeny they think they;ll loose. I reall hate this type of thinking but unfortunatly we're not the ones in control of what gets released and they dont particularly listen to us.

So anyway about this Frasier....

(No seriously lets not go back this way again :p )

That is true, the above mentioned comedies are all pretty poor, but the theme that runs through all of them is that they play upon a middle class "Britishness" that by it's very nature doesn't travel very well. The Good Life and Ever Decreasing Circles are also comedies that probably wouldn't do well abroad, but are actually of a very high standard. The thing is that I don't particularly like many of the American comedies that are shown over here (Off Center being particularly poor, and Married With Children didn't particularly tickle me). Maybe they're playing on American sensibilities an a way that the aforementioned British comedies do, and don't hit my funny bone.

On the other hand, a lot of serials from the States that have comedic elements in them do make me smile. Shows like Quantum Leap, Andromeda, Stargate SG-1, Six Feet Under, and to a much bigger extent Buffy will have their moments of understated comedic asides that do work well, but good American comedy (at least the stuff that has been exported to my telly) seems to me to be pretty thin on the ground lately. In my younger days I used to enjoy Home Improvement, Roseanne, and Fresh Prince but off hand, I don't recall a single sitcom from the States that I can actually sit through unless South Park counts.

Edit:
Oddly, the American comedy movie scene does work. It has it's immature gross out comedies from the Farrelly brothers, Road Trip, American Pie and others which are very funny. It also has it's intelligent comedy in the form of most Kevin Smith films (Jay And Silent Bob Strike Back somehow walking in both camps at the same time). Not seen his latest yet.
