Yep. I'm working on one that uses either a chatboard or edgewrite (gp32.sector808.org/edgewrite.php).

Exellent! :D
Are you planning to use different fonts, colours and the use of italics and bolc.
Or are you just keeping it simple?
Wow writing a story on the train that would be fun. :D

Yes, but only for display (more like theme support than changing font within a document)
See above
and the use of italics and bold
Probably not

Pretty much. It will have at least 2 interesting features though, but I'll tell you more about that when they're implemented.

well, you see , dont hate me for this, but that looks fake
I would love to see this as much as the next guy but...
the screen size is off, geepee dont look like that, sry man
I wish I could believe , but I cant

Ok, its a screen of the program not whats being shown in the program. And there is a thing built into Windows called "Themes" you might not know this but it makes program windows look diffrent. Douche. Or, it could be a mockup screen, so howty toyty. Woogal is a respected programer and has enough skill to make that, so calling him a liar is like saying that YAFL is not a good file launcher.

I can assure you it's not a fake or a mockup. The reason geepee doesn't look the way you're expecting is because it's the linux version. I will be releasing a beta very soon, once I've got rid of a few bugs (sometimes strange characters appear if you delete anywhere other than the end of the text). The beta won't include loading or saving, and will purely be released so I can find out if the chatboard support is working as expected (I don't have a chatboard, so Mirko has very kindly been doing testing for me).

hehe can't wait.
Thinking about it now you wouldn't really need all the different fonts etc because you can just touch that up when you're on the computer. :p

notepad....cool. Too bad it would take quite a long time to write anything. Now all we need is a touch screen gp32 and a pen and novels could be written so quickly it would make you dizzy.

Would a light pen allow the same thing on a non-touch screen?
