Hia guys,

I made some silly little animations ages ago with Windows Movie Maker, I would love to port them across to the GP32, but as yet I have found no way to convert a WMV to an AVI. VirtualDub doesn't do it either :(.

Does anyone know of a way to convert your own WMV files?

I would be eternally greatfull :)

Clare.

There is an old version of VD that can do it, but MicroSoft asked for it to be taken out.

Check the versions here. Not sure if they have support though.

Thanks for that info, I tried the two older versions on that site, and none of them supported my WMVs :(

VirtualDub Version 1.3c is the latest version that can open WMV. Also there is a version 1.4c that can open WMV as well, get that one here.

Stoik Video converter (freeware)  will do it.
It's available here - http://www.stoik.com/downloads/downloads_frm.htm

TTFN,
Clare.

Hia,

Yayyy it worked, Stiok Video Converter converted a WMV to an AVI, I then used VirtualDub 1.6.0 to convert it to DivX for the GP32 :) .

Thanks for that link,
Clare.
