I'm looking for a relatively high power USB wifi radio with a detachable antenna using some form of common connector.

I want to be able to hook it up to other antennas in order to tune/point them using my Pandoras.

So - what works with the Pandora USB and has a removable antenna?

Thanks!

I used often the Technisat Wlan Adapter.

It has a removable Wlan Antenna and RT73 Chipset.

You must only copy a little rt73 Firmare File and

It work perfectly.

Had bigger Antennas on it without Problems. ;)

Realtek 8188 cu and Realtek 8192 cu devices (and others) work on the Pandora without any additional drivers.

Search for those on eBay.

I found one that might work. Hope so.

From what I can tell I'll likely have to add a driver from another thread.
Yes it is this one.
When you put a Wlan Dongle on the Pandora need it sometimes Firmware Files to run fine.
You can see that when you put the Dongle onto your Pandora and type in Terminal the Word : dmesg

Then see you many Things what happen in Backround and sometimes need you Driver Files (Firmware Files)for Hardware like DVBT Dongles or Wifi Dongles.

With dmesg can you see many important Things.

I just got these.  I had to install a firmware file, but now it works fine.  Better than fine.  I just ran a speedtest at 5.6MB/s down and 2.4MB/s up.

These little sticks with antennas are awesome!

Now i just need a Kismet PND or other Netstumbler replacement.
