OK, I'm sure I've got something wrong that's an easy fix. I followed the setup post, but when I try to telnet to my GP2X from my XP laptop I get:
Connecting To 192.168.2.3...Could not open connection to the host, on port 23:Connection failed
Pinging 192.168.2.3 gets no response.
The PC Network Connections window shows:
Connected Linux USB Ethernet/RNDIS Gadget

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

GP2X settings:
USB Host: ON
USB Network: ON
IP: 192.168.2.3
FTP,Telnet Server: ON

Laptop settings:
Windows IP Configuration

Ethernet adapter Wireless Network Connection:

Connection-specific DNS Suffix . : Belkin
IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.2.2
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.2.1

Ethernet adapter Local Area Connection:

Media State . . . . . . . . . . . : Media disconnected

Ethernet adapter GP2X Connection:

Connection-specific DNS Suffix . :
IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.2.4
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.2.1

try setting your gp2x settings on a different subnet than your wireless:

ip: 192.168.3.3

and changing Ethernet adapter GP2X Connection:
to 192.168.3.4

by the way, you do not have to enable usbhost only usbnetwork.

if that doesn't work try disabling the wireless connection.

Thanks for the quick response! Changing the two addresses did it.

I found to get a ping back or the Web server to work I had to add a default gateway to the GP2x.

Edit:Saying that I did that by telnetting into the 2x in the first place.
Ignore me, I'm having a bad coding day (again)

Just a quik question : what is the otion usbhost for?
Does it mean we can connect to the gp2x some external storage devices ?
I tried to connect my archos mp3 player (usb mass storage) but it did nothing. And the option usb storage device, what it is for ?
