Not sure if this has been posted before....but in my usual Pandora related trawls of the internet i stumbled upon this:

All of this information is probably available from the official documentation, but its nicely summarized in this article. It goes into a fair bit of depth into the pipelines of each component, as well as almost all the hardware features(L1 & L2 Caches, Neon unit, Thumb-2, Super-scalar, Branch prediction). It also states that 30fps VGA H264 decoding can be achieved at 350mhz and MPEG4 at 275mhz using the Neon unit.... very promising for those videophiles who like their battery life.
Anyway, Interesting read for anyone curious about the A8 but not prepared to dig though the unwieldy official docs.
