Iv had my GP2x 5 days and the now when i bootup the screen is washed white, you can see outlines and extremely light fades of what should be there. I have not dropped, damaged the console or made any changes to factory settings. most ive done is played a few games. Anyone else have this problem? I have looked over many forums and havnt seen this.

What? MY GP2X? You mean you just ordered one?

We gp2x veterans order at least 5, so we have one or two left while the others are being RMAed over and over due to build issues.

try going into lcd settings

edit: no that doesnt work dont listen to me

I bet the LCD voltage generator failed and is giving the wrong voltage to the screen.

Looks more like the LCD ribbon cable came loose a bit.
That might be the problem yes.
I also read another post explaining that the screws might be tighten to hard, so the joystick wouldt move correctly.
maybe something here is pressing on the LCD, and therefore making strange colors/light.
If you don't wanna return it, then maybe try to open the GP2X (!!but be sure you know what you are doing!!)

Not trying to make you fix it yourself, just my idea of what the problem might be :)
