I think the problem is that the cost of replacement for just the screen (parts, labour etc.) rarely comes to much less than the price of a new F-200 anyway (especially if the touchscreen component is damaged on an F-200 too). So there's little point in getting a replacement when you could just get a new one for much the same price.
Obviously, people who are willing to fit it themselves will make a bit more of a saving, IF they can locate the part (which most likely is only sold in units of 1000, so they aren't worth paying for on a one-off basis, and anyone who wants to do "spare parts" sales has to have a shed-load of screens to make it worthwhile and there probably isn't that demand).
Like most things nowadays, it's cheaper to throw away and buy a new one than it is to repair.
