Anyone running Quake with the RAM timing tweak?

I can run it fine in demo mode, but as soon as I start a game it locks up after a few seconds. Its strange cause its working in Quake 2 and SquidgeSNES.

Works fine for me, but then you have to remember that there's no such thing as 'the ram timing tweak'. You're suggesting that there's one set of ram values that provide the fastest speed and work perfectly well for everyone, but actually tweaking the ram involves a number of settings and you should play around with them until you find values that work best for a particular app on your particular gp2x. There may have been a few different values posted on these forums that claim to be an ideal set, but there's no guarentee that the one set is going work best for everyone. It's just the same as with overclocking - just because you can get to 266mhz in one app doesn't mean you can always get that high in other apps.

Im overlcocking to 250, it has worked for every app and i have run it at that speed before i adde the ram changes. Im almost postive im using the same values you gave out on that quake2 thread.
The thing that makes me wonder is that it runs the background demo with no issue.
