Somebody got a great power adaptor to use with GP32 ??? if yes please tell me where to buy it :)

thanks :)

I personily don't use one (prefer rechargeables) but I remember reading about someone saying they use one they got from argos, only £4.99 i think.

I would suggest you just get some rechargeable batteries, they're about the same price and much more useful. I heard the GP32 is very picky with power adaptors, some work, some don't, so if you don't want to risk buying something that won't work, just get some rechargeable batteries.

Thanks alot :) I'll take a look at argos now :)

concerning the rechargeables you use, what is your battery life ?? ( approximatly?) coz I hear that rechargeables got a worst battery life ...
and can you tell me if ur GP32 is FLU ones?

thanks again :)

I got four cheap ones with a charger for 8 quid three weeks ago and I'm still on the first charge of the first 2, so they must be ok. If you've got 4, you'll always have power anyway :)

oh, and it's non-flu

The GP32 Manual says:-
DC 3V 250mA (or above: Standard is 400mA) Plug is centre pin negative.
"using an adapter that produces stable power is better"
There are many multi-adaptors available, but seeing some posts where GP32 has been damaged by 9V or whatever, I'd recommend getting an adaptor which only supplies 3V
If you live in the UK : Maplin Part no. MG76H ( £7.99) is a 3V 400mA stabilised supply. It comes with 6 plugs, but unfortunately none of them fit. The plug you need is 2.3mm diameter (similar to mobile phone) which you can buy separately.

I got a generic multi-voltage 500mA power supply, does me fine. Even matches the colour scheme for my gp32.

i used my GBA psu, just cut the wires and swapped em over, tape them up, works like a treat, First I tried a Multi Volt thing from Argos, but the connection was shite, and kept going off.

4th time this month I posted this.

Hey everyone - saw some discussion on AC adapters for GP32.

Went to Radio Shack and got one for $13.99. They have a wall of generic adapters, and you are allowed one custom plug for free.

The part number you need is 273-1755 3V AC Adapater, 500mA
The plug you need is the Type A plug.

You will put the plug in with the (-) alligned with (tip) to get the correct polarity.
