Quick question, do I have to do something to activate a mouse over the OTG port?

I just got me a cable, the mouse lights up but the pointer doesn't move.

Thanks in advance for any answers I might get ;)

You might need to load the g_cdc kernel module. You can do this from the terminal with:

sudo modprobe g_cdcIf you want it to be loaded at startup try:Main menu -> Settings -> Startup -> Enable/Disable services on boot -> Start USB Network on bootup

No you dont need.

if it does not work it may be that your mouse takes up too much power.

OTG has very little power to begin with, much less than the USB host port.

Not needed at all on my side.

Just plug it out and connect it again.

I must do that a few Times and then work the Mouse here on OTG ;)

Thanks, though my mini travel mouse does work with a hub, it does not on the OTG port. I tried another (wireless mouse) and that works on the OTG port without problems so I guess Ekianjo was right in regards to the power usage.

Thanks once again :)

I'm not sure why is it needed. g_cdc is loaded by default, so yes you don't need to do anything after reflash, so maybe had it loaded after all?
