Well, I just tried it and it works very well. Every once in awhile there is a sudden pause in the game and then it continues, and when there are a lot of things onscreen it slows down quite a bit, but overall it is very good.

I was the first to DL....

Runs to slow compared to the mighty Zodiac port from Vilmos!(Maybe overclocking?)

I'm waiting on a Rrootage port!!!

EDIT: this is one tough cookie... I'm still on level 4 on the Zod version!

P.S. Can we add MIDI files later like on the Zodiac version!?!

Why not just PORT the zodiac version. If we could get Vilmos to cough up the source all we would have to do is cut out all of the Palm stuff. Probably much easier than messing with the dreamcast one.

Thanks a lot.
This is such a great game, and I downloaded and play all of ABA's games. This one is one of my favorites.

Wow this game has a really professional feel to it, reminds me of Rez for the dreamcast. The only problem I have is a few seconds into a new level it will pause randomly for about a second and then continue on fine. Well thats my only problem apart from the fact i keep dieing :p

Try the PC Version:

It seems a tad bit faster pased, and I can get pretty damn far. It puts me into a trance when I play it on PC (I first learned to play it on PC)
NOTE: This download is windows only. Sorry guys :(

GET IT HERE!!
(Its my mirror, as I dont want to overrun ABA's server, its slow enough already)

Have you played the PC or Zodiac versions? Dreamcast?

Great, I love this game. It's indeed great on my zodiac, but it's a sucker to play on it due my crap analog stick...

Heh, I love this shooter, thanks hc232. rRootage is also simply great, with all the four game modes, but it uses OpenGL unfortunately.

Hmmm... turning the sound off seems to remove the pauses. Also with the sound on there can be occasional channel switches (firing sound moving from left to right). There is something going on with SDL_mixer that is causing these latency issues.

If the SDL_mixer stuff can be improved or a workaround established (maybe going from MOD to Ogg for music, or using the coprocessor) then the only issue I see is the slowdown when there are lots and lots of things on screen. But you can say it's "bullet-time" :p

This game seems to use a fair bit of floating-point but it still runs well :)

oh yes.... thank you!

The more of these games we get the better - I can't get enough bullet hell :)
