Hi,

Does any one know how to edit and img file?and if it's possible

Assuming that the suffix .img points to an image of a hdd or cdrom (or the likes) you can probably edit such a file with isobuster. There is different utilities out there that can edit such a file AFAIK... google it maybe!
 
if you mean the qtopia-image i think it's a cramfs-image, so you could extract and recompress it with the tools i've shipped with my cramfs-firmware-skin-replacer (http://archive.gp2x.de/cgi-bin/cfiles.cgi?0,0,0,0,15,1288)

I had some errors using it under windows with Cygwin i'll try this evening on linux.
