Hi guys, im looking into buying a GP32, but I use a macintosh computer. Does this matter? Can i still use the GP32 coding systems and all on Mac?

Thanx!

Ollie

You can develop for the GP32 on the mac - check out Mr.Spiv's site here:
http://www.cs.helsinki.fi/u/jikorhon/condev/gp32/

You can use my Maclink GUI to download/upload files to the GP32 from here:
http://www.zaonce.com/tools/index.shtml

And if that's not fast enough, you can run gpDrive on the GP32 which will then mount the GP32 on your mac as a volume which you can just open in the Finder and treat as a disc.

Buy one - if you want to play all your favourite old games, you won't regret it!

Thanx dude! Just the sort of answer i was looking for! I want the GP32 also mainly for the divX player on it....

I use a Mac and was also pretty worried about this before I bought my GP32.

I use a SMC reader rather than software and that is really excellent for the job so I'm more than happy. I'm not a coder so I'm unsure about development on a Mac, but OSX is closer to UNIX so I assume there would be all manner of possibilites, and there's always Virtual PC when necessary...

What I really want for my Mac is a decent Amiga emulator, the PC has had more than one for ages, but Mac UAE is stuck in the doldrums...

I'd have to repeat both of those points.

I deffinately prefer using the SMC card reader (well, i use my digital camera and read it through there).
