Here is some stuff describing Amd Bulldozer. 8 cores in a consumer grade processor drools! There will even be 12 and 16 core versions!!! Anyways this is part of Amd's product refresh along with Fusion. Imagine the PC games that could be created with this.

Right now I am trying to imagine why the hell I would want to care about "bulldozing" intel. You keep on opening threads trying to polarize and apparently holding a grudge against certain companies. Why? Have they done anything to you? I don't like big corporations too, but really I don't care about who "wins" at developing technology. I'll be glad to use it if it's good tech though.

First you open a thread about that ugly ocosmos thing claiming it will be the best thing ever running an intel atom and then you obsess about this windows 8 on arm thing which apparently threatens to destroy 2000 years of culture, now you are all over AMD with their fusion and bulldozer tech. WTF? Don't take any serious offense please, I am just really a little bit puzzled.

AMD Processors are going into bulldozers?

Is there really any need for that? I'd imagine a bulldozer wouldn't really need a very powerful processor. An off the shelf ARM product would do just fine.

Compared to ATI (Stream), and Nvidia (CUDA), multi core technologies.

This new processor line up from AMD sounds tame (is AMD milking the masses, as Intel does), but they should do fine as micro controllers, once the GPU's take hold, I guess.

AMD, bought out ATI.

Intel, spoke of CUDA, as just a blip (in processor evolution). I think Intel, missed the boat, and should have teamed up with Nvidia, rather than show the size of the chip on their shoulder.

Not to bothered about CPU's now, more interested in GPU's, for super computer at home processing power.

Though it is interesting to see a parallel with Intel vs AMD, and ATI (AMD) vs Nvidia.

Quite biased towards Nvidia, for their CUDA (if I am honest).

Sorry about I just thought the title was cool, anyways as for the Ocosmos well it can't be a OpenPandora killer if it doesn't hit the market and the thing its killing (OpenPandora) is already dead to begin with (outdated specs and vaporware). Sorry about the threads we cool ;)
