kailera is a program that would alow online multiplayer on server i have no idea how to get it to work, but im pretty sure it is posible, i will post the sdk in hopes of somone helping me, im curently working on it but perhaps somone alredy has a solution.

if you need a sample, go look at the Kaillera implementation in the Mame32 source code, available on Kaillera's home page (http://www.kaillera.com/)

plese any help would be apreciated

so ive been looking at alternatives now, other than kailera their is also "XLink Kai"

ok, so ive been checking things out with xlink kai so far things look like it might take some work but it seems posible, the problom will be
the wifi adapter :/ but perhaps the usb network would help

why is it when i try to conect using ad hoc the network option isnt their but when im conected to my home wifi it shows up?

Maybe you haven't a real connection yet. To have a adhoc network working, two devices must be connected in adhoc mode. It seems like when you connect to your home wifi your caanoo will use the infrastructure mode.
Like you can see here it should work. I cannot test because my brother hasn't got a wifi-stick. :(

Maybe you haven't a real connection yet. To have a adhoc network working, two devices must be connected in adhoc mode. It seems like when you connect to your home wifi your caanoo will use the infrastructure mode.
Like you can see here it should work. I cannot test because my brother hasn't got a wifi-stick. :(

What where trying to do is get a tunneling service going like xlink kai - but a wifi max adapter is need though.. I have a wifi link adapter witch
is the same, all though some routers support xlink kai firmware... we also need more emulators to have lan play to do so ;)

I have kai running and I can have ad-hoc or intra but mame times out after 30 secs waiting for a player also kai is still not seeing the caanoo yet,
We need a search for games funtion in mame or any other netplay game/emulator so kai pics up the console

ruffnutts ;)
 
Be good if you could have a client on the caanoo that runs in the background so you dont have to write it into the emulators
