In some threads I did mention I want to build a Pyra suitcase and put a Screen into the Lid.
Requirements are:
1: Low Power (should run with a battery pack)
2: Flat
3: 15'' would be nice
4: I'd prefer HDMI to make things easy
There is nearly no low power screen I can find that has HDMI and a good size.
Or they are not flat.
Most screens that would fit my needs are USB only.
Which means DisplayLink (or other proprietary software requirements) which has bad Linux support and is not good for gaming.
On Ebay I found a Chinese company which offers what I need: a Full HD Panel with external Controller board
The Data Sheet (Chinese, Google translate helps a little) seems to have the screen specifications on Page 6/13.
So if I do not use full brightness Power consumption should be OK.
What I'm concerned about are the last two columns of the first table.
Does this mean this Display does have a response time of 50 ms?
So what do you think, is this Display any good for me?
I don't want it as an every day Display.
It's a gadget I might want to use if I need a bigger screen with the Pyra outside.
For this it seems to be the cheapest and most easy solution to me.
