Edit: never mind, problem solved, sorry 'bout this. (I forgot which way lock was, cheap-o card label doesn't say)
I wanted to transfer a file to my SD, with one of those cheap super-small USB SD readers (the ones a bunch of you bought sometime last year, with differently coloured plastic - mine is gray smoke), and a window popped up saying that the drive is write-protected. I took the SD out, and the little clip was indeed toggled to 'protect'. I fixed that, and popped it in again. Same window came up. I rebooted the computer, and even tried it on a different system altogether, and the problem persisted. I used the GP2X to transfer the file to the SD, and it worked on the first go. Is my reader bust and lost forever, or can I somehow salvage it?
