No NGPC emu... Someone must DIE. Time for Nutzo to go NUTZO, no where's my ninja sword...

Seriously tho, I don't see why an emu author cancels an emu to punish a leaker? That doesn't really hurt anyone except for us patient fans who didn't leak anything. Heck, all we got were some screenshots. :( If I'm gonna be punished for someone I don't even know leaking a beta, damn, that's not fair at all.

I really hope the NGPC emu isn't cancelled forever. I love my NGPC and was looking forward to trying the GP32 emu.

If you have a NGPC, why is a GP32 Emu such a bit deal? Running off the original hardware has alot more advantages, eg Battery Life...

What about an flu, or what about just the idea of having one system that does everything.

ThunderZ may have opted to quit devving his emu, which is a shame and all that but it is his perogative, we can argue over his motives, but he obviously feels let down, maybe, just maybe (hopefully) after the dust has settled, he may reconsider. If you read this ThunderZ, just look at the acclaim that Jeff (Skeezix) has recieved over the last few days, he released by his own admission, a beta that did little but show that there was potential, less than a week later we have an almost perfect Soundless Atari ST, and to a slightly lesser extent but acclaim none-the-less for RobertG, who does not even own a GP32 yet (at time of writing) and by his own admission is learning as he's going along, I imagine (as I am not a dev'er) that it is this acclaim that makes you guys pour your heart, soul, and more importantly time and efforts into this type of work.

Imagine that same acclaim bestowed upon you for your work, sounds good eh, and it's still not impossible to achieve.

Please think again, if you still feel the same then that too is fine, you do what you want to do, do not be swayed by anyone, I shall not hold any grudges or anything else against you (or any other dev'ers who feel the same way) afterall, you owe me nothing, I am nothing but a very grateful reciprient of your very hard work

Thanks for all you've done for the scene so far, and thanks for anything you do in the future, even if it's to tell me to shutup.

You have my full respect, and I respect your decisons over this issue, whatever that is or becomes.

Very nice post MtT, to be honest the vectrex and atari ST emulators have been some of the most fun to watch develop. True the first releases of both were by no means amazing and at first not even playable but they were welcomed with a great deal of intrest and from what I can tell have caused the authors to put more time into the development. Hell the author of the vectrex emulator hadn't even recived his gp32 in the mail before releaseing a few versions of his emu which I might say was pretty nice to see develop. Its great to see non playable early versions of an emulator released then see quick at some points daily improvments of them released. I also like being able to reply and tell the author what I think of the work they have done and I'm sure it feels good to see people giving positive feed back on hard work. I can recall a recent thred about the atari ST emulator which grew to almost three pages in the corse of a day. I understand that some authors like to keep there work under cover until its at a point that can really be enjoyed and right they should it is after all their work and they owe us nothing. But is is always nice to see enthusiastic authors who are as excited to share the progress of their work with us as we are to hear it.

I agree with MrT.

Has anyone talked to ThunderZ about this? Are you out there?
