That's fair enough... but you do realise with that you are converting a digital video signal to an analogue signal right?

I suppose it doesn't matter if you already have the monitor.... and maybe it would look weird with slighty different quality images on the screen.

Actually that's not quite true, this connector is a DVI-I, so it supplies both Digital and Analog signals.

I use one to connect my CRT monitor with VGA plug to my 7900GT's DVI plug... works perfectly fine...

also, theirs people using 4+ monitors at a time now... theirs someone that covered a wall in 20" LCD screens, I think he used 9 Screens in total and connected them all to one computer.... Waste of money ;)
