I try to do things manually...

$ cat /tmp/gui.load

XFCE4;The full desktop Environment;startxfce4;xfce4-session-logout --logout

I restart Xfce : no auto re-logging

What are you trying to do?

/tmp/gui.load is just a temporary file for switching the GUIs.

I though it was for an auto re-log of a window manager...

I'm currently playing with Xfce settings. But i need to better understand OP configs...

Do you think a redesigned Xfce belongs to the switchgui menu ?

Or should it be a user "skin" ?

End of holiday week, out of time... :/

My head is full of OP stuff, all confused as i passed the whole week working on it.

Well, if it's a redesign, it should only be a theme / skin - unless you change a lot of XFCE which needs its own startuop script, then we can include that.

It's much more than a redesign, but it's in alpha stage. So much to do with the OP makes focusing difficult ^^.
