I was trying to copy a SNES rom into my GPMM directory but it said that there is no space allowed in the file name, so I tried to rename it but it didn't work. Is there a way around that? Can you rename you files? If so, how? Thanks

rename the file on your pc - max 8 characters. then up load it again.

this should work

I had this problem a couple of time with super mario world.

However u should be able to rename them.

find the file on your pc

right click

select rename

Change filename ie: Mega man X Becomes MM

Then stick that file into your Gpmm directory

and it should work

Don't rename the file MM.smc otherwise the pc makes it MM.smc.smc

and I think that's where the poblem occurs

That worked, I mean it copied to my GP32, I am supposed to just drag it into my GPMM folder right? Cause when I checked to see if it was on my GP32 it wasn't on the Free Launcher. Does anyone know what happened? Thanks

Launch, the free launcher then select snes9x from the list

then just select the rom u want to run

still stuck post again in more detail

:D

No, I'm using SNESEMU, not the one you said. And on my GP32 it is not under the free launcher, all i have is Wind-ups.

I think you need to create a new directory for your roms with this one, if u still have no luck.

either search the forum, or try out the other one that I use then I can help you out as I have never used the other one?

:D

Thanks for the help. I will try the other emulator. I need to go to bed. It's past 10 PM here in Japan. I hope you can help me later. Thanks again.
