The GP32 BLU is $250?! It's just a GP32 with a backlit LCD screen, right? So why is it so much more? I could understand $200, which is what the FLU was a year or so ago, but $250?
OK, I have to say it then - Zodiac1 is $300 and has 32MB RAM, 2 SD card slots, full state-of-the-art multimedia PDA and is PalmOS compatible. It's sturdy, has a sleek metallic casing, an SNES layout, and a backlit 480x320 4" screen. Whether or not you even want a Zodiac or a PDA, my point is that the BLU seems really overpriced in comparison. If it had 32MB RAM and/or a faster CPU than the old GP32 I could understand $250 and I would even consider buying one myself because I still really like some of the GP32 games (I really miss "All For Princess"... I loved that game). But at that price it's not worth it IMO.
I can understand people going for original GP32 and FLU as affordable devices, but the BLU at $250 seems overpriced for what you get IMO.
Maybe it will go down in a few months. I just can't see that many GP32 users upgrading or new users spending $250 for one.
