is it possible for GBAX to Mod the GP32 to 200 MHZ and Upgrade the Ram to 64 Megs. Just Asking Because by the time we buy the 180 mhz mod 32 meg version.
They will come out with a 200 MHZ version with 64 Megs of Ram

I don't think it will happen as almost nobody has the 32mb mod, no one will start programming for it.

Also: clocking beyond 166mhz EATS batteries.
I've even heard that clocking beyond 166mhz doesnt make sense cuz the GP32 system bus (max 166mhz throughput) is a bottle neck.

I sent an e-mail to GBAX asking if they would upgrade old units to 32mbs rams, they said yes but it would be expensive.

266

The GP32 could run up to 266 Mhz, but not more. ;)

@ 266mhz you'd have to change batteries as fast as you would be changing ammo for a shotgun ;)
Exactly. ;)

maybe at 266 it is a battery killer but you can also use a AC/DC adapter or a car adapter so you wont have to reload your GP every sec

see you
