I've got MoviePark and was wondering what improvements GP Cinema offers in terms of quality, options, etc.

Is there anything I need to know before I get it? Does it cost anything? Sorry for being lazy, I could probably find this out myself, but this is much easier.

Yeah, costs 3usd if u already have moviepark. I just bought it and im glad i upgraded. You can choose your clock speed, which is handy and also u can go a lot high in frames per second. i think somethin like 24fps is the limit put i stick to around 15. There is a brightness setting which is a godsend, as i always had to increase the brightness in virtualdub which was a bit hit and miss. the bitrate limit is also a lot higher, as is the sound quality. Then theres the fact u can use xvid as a codec which produces higher quality at the same bitrate as divx. Someone said a while ago that if you are willing to stretch the film over 2 smcs then you can get close to dvd looking sound and video. Not sure it thats quite rite but the film looks almost perfect if you put enough into the encoding. Id say its worth it 4 a couple of quid. B)

It is like 3 dollars more for 5 more frames per second, and it is worth it. Definetly buy it.

Uhm, if you press start&select you can adjust the gamma level in MoviePark. Nevertheless, I totally agree with you: GPcinema rocks. The quality is so much better. And for three bucks it's a steal. :D
