Helo i'm about to buy a GP 32 and was just wondering if it realy can emulate the GBA. The help faq says it can't, but you can download emulator on this site. Mayby the emulators was made after the help faq was written. :)

actually there are 3 "emu" available
vba32 (can run gba code but not good for that in fact)
shitegba (alpha (cant do a lot I think))
gpadvance (very early alpha very promissing)

Maybe the gp32 will be able to run gba games in a few months but now you can only run a few demos

see you

PS : You should buy a gp32 even if the gba emulation is not ok now because there is a lot more that a poor gba....

look boyo just buy the gp32 anyway, you dont need a GBA emulator, not when you can have the snes one

Hope you got the Flu version ;)

PS...cant belive they didn't flame you for this post. :D

GeePee32 is easy to use, but for most games you are required to make a SMC image and use it, not just run the fxe / gxe / etc.. files directly in GeePee32.

Also GeePee32 runs at about the 40mhz mark. So any games that require higher will not be playable properly.

GP32 is easier yet, simply get a SMC reader, create a gpmm folder in the root of your SMC, and drop all your games into that folder. Easy.

Actualy i'm planing to use it as a mp3 player as well
But is the movies any good when you have to compress them to fit an smc?
It must take a lot time to backup such small movies from dvd to divx ;)

yes you can use gpcinema : it is a very great sofware...
I really enjoy watching DivX while in the bus or train...
trust me....It is cool and cheap
