Hello there!
Today, I was thinking what WIN is able to do but Pandora - Pyra isn't able to. And I realized there is nearly no tools on the repo for Gameboy (Advance) (Color) ROM hacking. (Apart from hex editors.)

It really is impossible to list every Gameboy or Gameboy Advance ROM hacking tools that exist to date. But as I am just getting into music hacking, I thought Sappy might be a good example. I found the source code at https://github.com/Sonicarvalho/Sappy , though not sure if it can be ported or not. Another piece of software which is commonly used when music hacking is mid2agb. Now, I think talking about that program is not a good idea for obvious reasons, but the source code I found (https://github.com/Touched/mid2agb) doesn't build. (as far as the README.md says)

Another program with the source is https://github.com/diegoisawesome/GBAIntroManager/releases/tag/v0.1.2 (Intro Manager). Also a script editor is right here https://sourceforge.net/projects/pk-script-view/ .

Please note that this is not a request. (It would be, but there are too many and some of those tools do not have Linux versions.) Whenever I learn how to port them, I will be working on them. Whether you will help or not, thanks!

@ptitSeb Just a quick question while my ext2 sd card is being prepared : while reading the pandoralive.info tutorial, I noticed the makefile. Since I've choosen Sappy, I couldn't find any Makefile, though I've found a make.bat file, which seems to use Visual Basic 6.

@Alpibrine28 : yes indeed. This program is for VisualBasic 6. It will be very tricky to compile it on the Pandora. There is no VisualBasic 6 for ARM. The closest thing will be VisualBasic.net, that can more or less works on the Pandora (use the MonoRT PND). I suggest you choose another tool :S

Sadly, it's missing the picture, but they are not mandatory.

If you really want to understand it, I suggest you just not read it, but follow it as a tutorial... Build your own Arka PND to better understand the process :)

Seems like pksvui is not going to work, too. (#include <windows.h>) I better look for another rom editing tool.
