This is an amiga clone done via fpga chips. It is looking quite cool now that I have a better idea of what to expect. It will be available for sale soon enough and the official website will be updated.here's a link to the thread on amiga.org with some of the latest info.http://www.amiga.org/forums/showthread.php?t=55885&page=116 Here's the websitehttp://www.fpgaarcade.com/ In essence I think it will be a faster aga amiga with lots of ram. With the daughterboard usb, ethernet, hdmi, mini sd etc are also available. This could be used as a fully fledged amiga. They are aiming for 100% compatibility with old amiga software. The Daddy(Loriano Pagni) is going to assemble them in cool amiga style cases called the x500. and resell them. Here's info and a youtube vid of the x500 case.http://amigaworld.net/modules/news/article.php?storyid=6356

Yes it's alot of miggy goodness but at a cost.Who wouldn't sell his soul for a miggy!!!There is also an ide/ram/accelerator thingy to send your a500 into the stratossphere being made!!!It's called zeus and there's athread about it on EAB

All these crazy FPGA machines are awesome (such as C64, Atari ST, Amiga, etc.) Theres a number of simialr projects, and thankfully, much cross-pollination.

I've got one of the FPGA Atari ST machines, totally awesome :)

Yup great fun id say.I will probably opt for an fpgaarcade board as im more of an amiga guy. There is also a board called the zeus to add loads of power to an amiga 500.ide/ram/accelerator etc.Apparently it could easily be used for an atari too.It just needs some software changes I guess.
