Yes.
If the Pandora has the Disk Utility (Main Menu -> System -> Disk Utility) You can format it all manner of ways using a nice GUI.
*** I don't have a pandora in front of me, so this might not be 100% accurate.
From the command line to format it to Fat32:
Insert your memory card, open a terminal and type:

df
sudo umount /media/[mount name]
sudo mkdosfs [name of device]
df will tell you the device name of your memory card. Probably /dev/sdb1 for slot1 and /dev/sdb2
for slot 2. It will also give the mount name for said device.
Remount it (I'd just reinsert the card)
