Fake Email From Someone Claiming To Be Ebay

These kind of things Cant Automatically gather my Ebay User / Password details can they?? As I have Ebay Set to Remember Password (But I use Firefox)

So, they cant gather my Ebay Details from where FireFox Saves the USer and Password with these kind of emails can they?? I Right Clicked the Submit button, BUT NOTHING WAS ENTERED INTO THE FEILDS ... Also, Right Clicking it shouldnt have done anything anyway should it?? I right clicked it to see If I could see where the "Submit Link" was going.. ??

Report it to ebay and change your password. its as fake as ummm... something really fake... ebay never ask for your password via email.

There's loads of these doing the rounds at the moment.

Just ignore them. The biggest giveaway is the address to which it directs you, which is never on the ebay.com or ebay.co.uk domains. It's always something like ebay.verifydetails.com or something, which is just a subdomain set up by someone on their verifydetails.com domain.

oftem it's just a numerical IP address! IF unsure, dont do it.

As has been said, there is NEVER any reason for ebay to ask you to confirm details by entering them.

They are probably just guessing that you might have an ebay account. I get lots of emails saying that my bank account details need updating - Funnily enough, I don't have accounts with these ten banks or so!
