Does anyone have a good copy of the GP32 version of Elite: TNK? I've tried downloading it from http://membres.lycos.fr/kris4leloo/files/newkind_src_005.zip but the ZIP seems to be corrupt. Anyone have a good copy?

I think this file has been like this for a while - I've been trying to get the source for a while.

Thanks.

I couldn't find any sources of that file after an extensive bit of Googling... even getting the other source or older source is hard enough without trying to get that particular version.

That ZIP file does appear corrupt, yes - I couldn't get more than a handful of files out of it with various repairs and hacking. It looks like it's got a zipfile within a zipfile, so it was properly hit by some recursive wildcards catching its output into its input when it was being made and was never right. No doubt that source is floating around some P2P network somewhere now, if only because of the copyright takedown that it underwent, but how many people test the zips before they upload them?

I know it is not what you are looking for, but I did find the source for the GBA version, if it helps at all.

EDIT: I downloaded it from the Wayback Machine and nevermind, it crapped out after a few files. Something is wrong with the zipfile for sure. Grab it from the link below if you prefer to try it yourself.

CODE

File #55 onward gives "bad zipfile offset (local header sig)" so if you know how to repair that error, you might be able to salvage it.

Thanks for taking your time and posting that - I'd already sourced the original non-GP32 code. I did download this and compare to what I had but it looks like they're both v1.0. Which is good.

Anyway, I'm looking specifically for the GP32 source code.

Finally found an intact copy of the source. Compiled it up. Nice! Is it worth pursuing further?
