To the left of the page there's a hidden menu that contains even the manual.

You just have to "search" (using UP) every object of every room until it disappear, and you'll get puzzle pieces and passwords for reset lifts and send to sleep robots (using the terminals in every room)

Anyway the part of completing the puzzle is still undone by me... even with the help of the helper on the phone

*tsss*   *tsss*   *tsss*   *tsss* *jump*  ......... AAAAAAAAAHHH!!!!!

That "falling into pit" special effect is WAY too loud (and sound sample itself is annoying too). Other than that it was an interesting game. One has to manage risk VS time VS password use.

Time in the "checkerboard room" is well spent, one can get 5~6 passwords without wasting too much time. Better spend a minute or two getting a password in there than wasting 10 minutes later on for several deaths.

Elevator shafts are free to explore, so doing so each opportunity one gets is a good idea. Also take the opportunity to cross a room and explore a new elevator shaft (unless it's too risky), allows potentially accessing rooms form the back side, which can be useful for some room layouts. On each elevator shaft explore first the left side rooms before starting on the right side ones (to avoid leaving rooms unexplored).

The manual give the following hints:

You don't have to somersault over every hole in the floor. If a gap is no wider than a lifting platform, try stepping across it. But don't let up on the joystick until you get to the other side, or you'll fall.

If you have to cross a very large chasm, you can actually have one foot in the abyss before you press the fire button to jump. If you do this just right, it will give you the extra distance you need.

But it isn't as simple as they make it seem. You need to stand a specific distance from the edge so that the first step is just before the gap and thus the second step lands on the other side of the gap, there's very little room for error. Something similar applies when trying extending the reach of a somersault. And there's a room which practically requires use of this trick, so better master it from early on.

I remember playing that for hours, although I seemed to be missing a manual which would have helped me with the doc check. (It was a doc check, asking me sth like a satellite position in the sector below...?)
My god, was I easy to hook and hard to frustrate.

The game doesn't work for me, alas. Chrome isn't supported and Firefox doesn't allow some js for security reasons. Which browser do you use?
