Hi

I am a total newbie, infact my GP2X is not arriving until tomorrow! However I would really like to ask a question. I am hoping to use the GP2X for doing portable presentations and want to create a graphic interface for this. Basically I am hoping the user will click on an icon or the like and fire up a video. I have looked at RealBasic 2006 which complies to Linux, but will this run on the GP2X? If not has anyone got any ideas please?

Thanks for the help.

Cheers

Is there anything I could create an interface with?? or is there someone out there who would be interested in making one? For money of course :)

There's tons of stuff out there you could use to make an interface, theoretically. Since you mentioned RealBasic, though, I'm going to guess that Python would be right up your alley.

The problem is that the hacked version of mplayer on the gp2x doesn't play when passed the file name as a variable, so not sure how you'd be able to play a video.
