I've been having issues with connecting my Pandora to the Internet (see here: http://boards.openpandora.org/index.php/topic/13905-issue-with-connecting-to-router/) and my dad said I should try updating it. I downloaded the newest firmware (1.55) but when I put in on my SD card and booted it up according to the instructions, the option for booting from the SD card didn't show up. I can't connect to the Internet to update it the other way so this is the only way I can do it. Am I doing something wrong again?

Is your SD card formatted to NTFS or ExFAT? if so that may be the issue.. try an SD card formatted to FAT32 or ext2.

Did you extract the content of the archive? What filesystem is on your card?

Turns out the SD card hadn't been scanned so the option didn't show up. Now it does, but when I select "boot from SD card 1" it gives this:

reading boot.scr

5133613 bytes read

## Executing script at 82000000

Wrong image format for "source" command

script failed

The only way I got out of this was restarting my Pandora. Now what happened?

so what IS your SD card formatted to.. my guess that is the issue.

Nevermind, I managed to update the OS through the Internet by using a WLAN adapter I use for my Wii U. Still can't connect to the Internet without it though.
